Looking for a Design

Are you looking for a design that you think you may have seen, but can't remember where? Maybe you have an idea, and hope there will be a design to match. With so many sites, how will you ever find the design you want?

The best way to start is to ask on a forum or email group. Start with a descriptive subject line. Instead of "ISO" or "desperately seeking", try "rose design needed". You will be able to find the responses more easily.

Be as specific as possible. Instead of asking for a "small rose", ask for a "4-inch single long-stemmed rose, filled design" or a "5-inch bouquet of roses in redwork". You will get better responses the more clearly you can describe the desired design.

If you have the answer to someone else's search, instead of saying "I think I saw one at Jane's site", take a minute to visit the site you are about to recommend. See if the design is really there. Copy the URL of the page with the design and paste it into your response. Now you can say " There is a rose design at Jane's site.
http://designedbyjane.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=259  "
If you simply say "I saw one here" and give the URL, others who read the post may not know what design you mean, especially if the subject line does not mention the design.

Once you have found the design you want, send a thank you email to the forum or email group.
