Finding Something to Embroider |
|
You have plenty of beautiful designs, but it can be difficult to find something plain to embroider, especially if you want just the right color. Suppliers call these items "blanks". Look for high-quality apparel. Your embroidery designs will look better longer if they are embroidered on quality goods. In addition to shirts, you might want blank bibs, totes aprons and towels. If you cannot find what you want online, you can try looking in a discount store, but you will have to really dig to find unembellished items, and you will want to be sure the quality is acceptable. Still looking? Buy fabric and sew the item yourself, embroidering before you sew. Next issue: pre-wash and press |
