Dress Up That Gift

Instead of throw-away bows, decorate special packages with in-the-hoop or freestanding lace decorations. The recipient can then hang the decoration on their tree or re-use the decoration on a package next year. Either way, you are saving the environment and making your gifts more special.

Gift Cards are nicer if placed in an in-the-hoop gift card holder. Any small gift can be presented inside a small in-the-hoop gift bag. Cash, gift certificates or checks are made more personal when hidden inside something homemade.

Not sure if a design is freestanding lace? If it does not say it is freestanding, it probably isn't. When in doubt, ask the designer before purchasing.
