That New Dog or Cat |
|
Celebrate the arrival of a new dog or
cat by embroidering something special. A small towel is useful for wet
paws or soggy whiskers. A larger towel can be used for a rub down after
a bath or rain shower or swim. Make a bandana that slips over the dog's
collar (so it won't fall off). Any holiday is an excuse for a new
bandana! You can find a design for almost any breed to embroider on a
stocking so Santa won't overlook the furbaby.
You might embroider a pet-type design (paw prints, cat, dog, mouse), the pet's name, or a design that suits your locale or reflects the activities shared with the pet (hiking, frisbee, bird watching). Holiday designs are always fun. Look for in-the-hoop designs that can be used as pet toys. Don't be surprised if you get requests for more pet things. Everyone loves to spoil their furbaby!
