Good Advice |
|
Even those of us who are self-taught
need help with embroidery from time to time. Where do you turn for
answers, especially when you are embarrassed that the question is so
basic?
Find someone whose advice you trust. Start with the dealer who sold you your embroidery machine. She should answer your questions about how to use your machine and how to transfer designs from computer to machine. Take a group class to meet fellow embroiderers in your area. Make a friend and learn together. If classes are not offered locally, meet someone online through embroidery forums, Yahoo Groups or by getting to know your favorite designers. Whatever advice you receive, evaluate the advice. What works for someone else may not work for you, especially if you have different machines.
