Embroidering for Father's Day |
|
You want to embroider something
special for your father, husband or son, but don't know what design to
use. Think about the man in question. Does he like sports? Do cars or
boats capture his attention? Does he like to fix things around the
house? Is the family dog really his best friend? Is he the family
computer guru? Does he carry an iPod or cell phone? What about his career choice? Select a design that will
match his interests.
What to embroider? A golf or bowling towel, gym bag, tote bag, hat, boxer shorts, grilling apron or polo shirt will do nicely. Or make something useful using an in-the-hoop design. Guys are easy to embroider for if you just take a moment to think like a man. Next issue: good advice from Mary Jane Allen of Perfect Little Stitches |
