Asking for Help

If you need help using your software or transferring a design to your machine, where do you turn? The dealer who sold you the machine and software will be most familiar with your particular situation. But if you get no response there, you can ask on a forum or Yahoo Group.

Your best bet is to ask on a Yahoo Group or forum that is dedicated to your machine brand or specific software. If you can't find such a group, you can try asking on a more general Yahoo Group or forum.

When you ask for help, be as specific as possible. In the subject line, mention the problem ("need help transferring design to Janome" or "help needed with Artista software"). In your message, be sure to mention the brand and model of your machine, and the name and version of your software, or if you are using a box, the brand and model. There are many different combinations of machine and software, and each works a little differently.

Describe your problem as specifically as possible. The more information you give, the more likely you are to receive a helpful response.
