Freebies

Do you download freebies? Great! Do you always thank the designer? No? That's okay, too. If everyone who downloaded a freebie sent a thank you email to the designer, she would spend all day reading emails. But if you actually use the design and are pleased with the results, a thank you email to the designer is appropriate and also very much appreciated.

Remember that most free designs are copyrighted, and you are not allowed to share the design file. Share the URL. Freebies are generally meant to entice you to visit the site and to serve as samples so you can test the designer's quality. They are not intended to be the mainstay of your design library.
