Shoe Shopping |
|
Do you like shopping for shoes? Do you spend an afternoon hunting down the perfect pair for a special event or your new outfit? Do you try on dozens before you find the pair that is just your style? Along the way, perhaps you buy another pair (or two!) that you could not resist. What if you came to a shoe store that offered 100 pairs of shoes for $10.00, but you had to take whatever shoes they gave you, without even seeing them first, with absolutely no returns? You might figure that there would be at least one or two pairs of shoes that you would wear. Even if the quality wasn't up to your usual standard, it would still be a bargain. But think, where would you put all those shoes? You would need to sort through them, then discard the ones you know for sure you would never wear. The real problem is all the "maybe" shoes, the ones you probably won't wear, but you keep them just in case. So they take up space in your crowded closet, because you couldn't resist the bargain. The next day, you actually wear the best-looking pair of shoes in the lot. They aren't really comfortable, but they sure were cheap! But by the end of the day, your feet have blisters, your legs ache and the shoes are already looking shabby. You're beginning to think it wasn't such a bargain. Now tell me, how do you shop for embroidery designs??? Next issue: happy computer from Mary Jane Allen of Perfect Little Stitches |
